BioGaia ProTectis Baby is a dietary supplement containing Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis that helps the good micro-organisms restore a natural balance in the gut. L. reuteri Protectis has been tested in a number of clinical studies and proven both effective and safe for children.

An adequate dietary intake of Vitamin D contributes to healthy immune function and the maintenance of normal bone and muscle function. Vitamin D is also needed for normal growth and development of bone in children.

What are probiotics?

Probiotics are dietary supplements, like vitamins and minerals. The word probiotic means "for life" as opposed to antibiotic as live microorganisms which, when administered in adequate amounts, confer a health benefit on the host.

Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis is BioGaia's own patented probiotic bacteria. Because L. reuteri Protectis naturally occurs in the human body it is adapted to reside in humans.

Suggested Use

Use: Shake well before use. Five (5) drops once daily. Use regularly for gut health or when your child has temporary stomach discomfort.

Other Ingredients

Sunflower oil, medium chain triglyceride oil, silicon dioxide and vitamin E.

Warnings

Storage: Maximum 25°C/77°F. Keep out of reach of children. Opened container should be used within 3 months.

The tube includes a white desiccant device for prolongation of shelf life. The desiccant device is approved for use in direct contact with food, but should not be consumed.
